Pakwan House opened its doors in Surrey in 2009 with one goal: to serve authentic Pakistani food the way it's meant to be made — fresh, halal, and full of flavour.

The word "pakwan" means food in Urdu. It's not just our name, it's our promise. Every dish on our menu is rooted in traditional Pakistani recipes, cooked from scratch daily using halal ingredients. No shortcuts, no compromises.

Over 16 years later, we've had the privilege of serving Surrey's South Asian community and beyond — at our restaurant on 76 Avenue, at weddings and events across the Lower Mainland, and through every takeout order that makes its way to someone's dinner table.
